Grilled Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 454 gm Beef, flank steak, boneless, lean and fat, 0mm (0") trim
  • 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 dash Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Parsley Fresh
  • 2 tbsp Oregano Fresh
  • 4 colves Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 Whole Lime Lime juice Fresh

Method
 

  1. Heat grill to high heat.
  2. Season steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, parsley, oregano, garlic, red pepper flakes, and lime juice to make the chimichurri sauce. Set aside.
  4. Grill the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your preferred doneness.
  5. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes to allow juices to distribute.
  6. Drizzle chimichurri sauce over the steak, and serve any extra sauce on the side.

Notes

- Make sure to let the steak rest before slicing into it to allow the juices to distribute.
- You can also marinate the steak in the chimichurri sauce for a few hours before grilling for extra flavor.
